Lynnda Rakos has drawn characters, animals and little worlds for as long as she can remember. Raised in Montreal amid colour and pattern, she trained in art and built a career in fashion design before turning to illustration, where her eye for shape and surface storytelling now lives.

Based in Los Angeles, she makes vibrant, playful work that blends retro charm, mid-century design and a sense of nostalgia — pieces that feel like warm, whimsical snapshots from a story.
