Ángeles M. Pomata is a Spanish painter based in Níjar, where the dramatic seascapes of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park shape her work. A former clinical psychologist in Madrid, she turned to a creative life and discovered painting; self-taught and driven by experimentation, she came to art as a visitor and stayed.

Working primarily in oil, she celebrates the beauty of natural landscapes through vibrant color and concept-driven composition.
