Marian Parsons — known to a creative audience of more than 600,000 as Miss Mustard Seed — is an American painter, author, and designer based in Washington County, Maryland. What began in 2008 as a small decorative-painting and mural studio grew into a widely followed blog and a multidisciplinary practice spanning original oil paintings, fine-art prints, and product and fabric design.

She founded the Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint line, sold internationally before she parted with the brand in 2020, and her designs have reached retailers including Target, Hobby Lobby, Creative Co-op, and Belk. The author of Inspired You (2012) and Feels Like Home (2021), Parsons has been featured by HGTV, Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, and Good Morning America.
