Mareike Böhmer is a freelance artist from Germany working across abstract art and nature photography. Her path began in 2012 with vibrant geometric graphics; frequent travels to Scandinavia gradually softened her hand toward more organic forms and a gentler palette, and in recent years she has expanded into larger canvases.

Her minimalist photography captures the meditative balance she finds in nature. Her work has appeared in interior titles including ELLE Decoration, Schöner Wohnen and VTwonen, and in select IKEA collections.
