Hardijanto Budiman, known as Hardibudi, is a visual artist based in Jakarta who works through conceptual, contemporary photography. He resists the label of pure photographer, describing his images instead as 'Imaginary Story Pictures' and himself as their storyteller.

Strongly influenced by Surrealism, his work translates imagination, emotion and lived experience into staged, dreamlike scenes. An internationally awarded artist, he has exhibited across Europe, the United States and Asia and been featured in publications from Forbes to Vogue.
