Big Bear is the masked persona of an elusive street artist whose studio, by his own mythology, is the shadowed recess of an abandoned underground parking garage. Furry and fierce, he works by moonlit beam, conjuring dazzling neon and bold, gestural line into an otherworldly, psychedelic body of work inspired by the primal.

Provocative, alien-like mammals, primates, and winged and clawed creatures move across his canvases in electric color. Empty spray cans and a trace of thick brown fur are the only evidence left behind — proof that Big Bear has struck again.
