Alexandr Popovsky is a landscape photographer based in Key West, Florida, originally from the Republic of Moldova. Trained in psychology and once bound to a corporate routine, he found in photography a way to honor the beauty of the natural world.

Surrounded by ocean in Key West, water became his central subject — often paired with traces of human activity — and he is drawn to moments the naked eye can scarcely catch: lightning strikes, or the coastline rendered through long exposure.
